1. Ableton Live

  1. Organize Your Tracks: Ensure each track is named clearly.

  2. Freeze and Flatten: Freeze tracks with heavy CPU usage and flatten to reduce processing power (optional).

  3. Select All Tracks: Highlight all the tracks you want to export.

  4. Export: Go to File > Export Audio/Video.

  5. Settings:

    • Rendered Track: Select All Individual Tracks.

    • Sample Rate: Set to 44.1 kHz or 48 kHz.

    • Bit Depth: Set to 24-bit.

    • Dithering: Off.

  6. Export: Click Export and choose a destination folder.

  7. Include Project File: Optionally, save and include the Ableton project file.

2. FL Studio

  1. Organize Your Tracks: Ensure each track is named clearly.

  2. Select All Tracks: Go to the Mixer and highlight all the tracks you want to export.

  3. Export: Go to File > Export > Wave File.

  4. Settings:

    • Mode: Select Split Mixer Tracks.

    • Sample Rate: Set to 44.1 kHz or 48 kHz.

    • Bit Depth: Set to 24-bit.

  5. Export: Click Start and choose a destination folder.

  6. Include Project File: Optionally, save and include the FL Studio project file.

3. Pro Tools

  1. Organize Your Tracks: Ensure each track is named clearly.

  2. Consolidate Tracks: Select each track from start to finish and consolidate (Edit > Consolidate Clip).

  3. Select All Tracks: Highlight all the tracks you want to export.

  4. Export: Go to File > Export > Audio Files.

  5. Settings:

    • File Type: WAV

    • Format: Interleaved

    • Bit Depth: 24-bit

    • Sample Rate: 44.1 kHz or 48 kHz

  6. Export: Click Export and choose a destination folder.

  7. Include Project File: Optionally, save and include the Pro Tools session file.

4. Logic Pro X

  1. Organize Your Tracks: Ensure each track is named clearly.

  2. Select All Tracks: Highlight all the tracks you want to export.

  3. Export: Go to File > Export > All Tracks as Audio Files.

  4. Settings:

    • Format: WAV

    • Bit Depth: 24-bit

    • Sample Rate: 44.1 kHz or 48 kHz

    • Normalize: Off

  5. Export: Click Export and choose a destination folder.

  6. Include Project File: Optionally, save and include the Logic Pro X project file.

5. Cubase

  1. Organize Your Tracks: Ensure each track is named clearly.

  2. Select All Tracks: Highlight all the tracks you want to export.

  3. Export: Go to File > Export > Audio Mixdown.

  4. Settings:

    • Channel Batch Export: Select All Channels

    • File Format: WAV

    • Sample Rate: 44.1 kHz or 48 kHz

    • Bit Depth: 24-bit

  5. Export: Click Export and choose a destination folder.

  6. Include Project File: Optionally, save and include the Cubase project file.

6. Studio One

  1. Organize Your Tracks: Ensure each track is named clearly.

  2. Select All Tracks: Highlight all the tracks you want to export.

  3. Export: Go to Song > Export Stems.

  4. Settings:

    • Source: Tracks

    • Format: WAV

    • Sample Rate: 44.1 kHz or 48 kHz

    • Bit Depth: 24-bit

    • Preserve Mono Tracks: Checked

  5. Export: Click OK and choose a destination folder.

  6. Include Project File: Optionally, save and include the Studio One project file.

General Tips

  • Remove Effects: Turn off any effects on individual tracks unless they are integral to the sound.

  • Include Reference Track: Include a rough mix or reference track for the mix engineer to understand your vision.

  • Zip Files: Compress all files into a ZIP folder for easier transfer.
